To deeply learn from the lessons of recent major accidents in urban gas safety,comprehensively strengthen the investigation and management of urban gas safety risks and hidden dangers,and effectively ensure the safety of people's lives and property,the State Council's Safety Committee formulated the"Comprehensive Urban Gas Safety Special Rectification Work Plan"in 2023,clarifying,decomposing,and implementing safety production-related responsibilities for the entire chain of"one thing"of gas safety.Adhering to innovation leadership and technological empowerment,strengthening the application of new generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things,big data,and artificial intelligence in gas management,and establishing a large gas safety model.Comprehensive rectification of"problematic bottles,""problematic valves,""problematic hoses,"and"problematic pipelines"is carried out,establishing a long-term mechanism for urban gas safety and further consolidating the construction of gas infrastructure.In 2024,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's"Plan for Promoting the Update of Buildings and Municipal Infrastructure Equipment"increased financial support for the upgrade and renewal of gas pipelines,gas safety,and gas meters.The implementation of relevant policies will provide a huge market demand for gas technology and equipment.The Guangdong Gas Association will hold the"Guangdong International Gas Technology and Equipment Exhibition"from June 17-19,2025,at the Guangzhou Canton Fair Complex,showcasing new technologies,new equipment,new materials,and new results across the entire gas industry chain,accelerating the construction of Guangdong's gas pilot demonstration area,promoting international exchange and cooperation in the gas industry,and the organizing unit strives to make the exhibition a grand event integrating exhibition,display,trade negotiation,technical exchange,and international cooperation in the industry.
